This outfit consists of a basic kirtle, a sideless gown, belt, headress and jewelery.
The kirtle (underdress) is a low necked, fitted informal gown made of gold lycron, with tight sleeves and flowing skirt. Gold & crystal rocailles adorn the bodice and the hem.
The belt is made from parti-colored rocailles using a native american beadwork technique with a hook & eye closure. (my daughter taught me to do it and I have no idea what the proper name might be.)
The sideless (outer) gown is made of forest green velvet. It is consctructed with very full skirt and deep armhole openings. These openings are edged with more multi-colored rocailles (fur would be appropriate also). The outer gown is fully lined in black, and has several rows of rocailles cascading down the front.
The headress is a padded roll decorated with more of those rocailles!
The jewelery - more rocailles at work! - consists of a wire crystal, gold & garnet (color) bracelet, a crystal, gold & green rope necklace and a crystal & gold choker*.
